IEEE STYLE GUIDE: Books

This Libguide is an introduction to using IEEE citation system.

IEEE Citation Elements

The general format of the IEEE Style is:

[1] A. Author(s), Title of Book: Subtitle of Book, edition. City, State or Country of Publication: Publisher, Year.

[2] E. Editor and A. Editor, Eds., Title of Book: Subtitle of Book. City, State or country of Publication: Publisher, Year.

Captialize all Important Words in the Title.

[1] J. E. Shigley and C. R. Mischke, Mechanical Engineering Design, 6th ed. Boston: McGraw Hill, 2001.

[2] J. J. Craig, Introduction to Robotics: Mechanics and Control, 3rd ed. Upper Saddle River, NJ: Pearson/Prentice Hall, 2005.

[3] R. Parasuraman and M. Rizzo, Eds., Neuroergonomics: The Brain at Work. Oxford: Oxford University Press, 2007.
