Academic Skills Workshops: MLA and Works Cited

Information and resources for academic skills workshops.

About this Workshop

In this workshop you will learn about the MLA citation style and how to cite sources in your paper. We will go over what MLA style is and why you should use it; when you should include in-text citations and how to format them; and how to create your works cited list.

Session Times:

  • Tuesday, February 20, 2:30-4:00
  • Tuesday, March 13, 10:00-11:30

Each workshop is located in L203 (the computer lab to the right of the main staircase in the library).

If you can't make it, but want more in-depth help with MLA, feel free to send me an email and we can arrange a time to meet.
