Academic Skills Workshops: MLA and Works Cited

Information and resources for academic skills workshops.

About this Workshop

In this workshop you will learn about the MLA citation style and how to cite sources in your paper. We will go over what MLA style is and why you should use it; when you should include in-text citations and how to format them; and how to create your works cited list.

Workshop Times:

November 16: 2:30-4:00 (L308)

December 7: 11:30-1:00 (L203)

Room L203 is the computer lab in the library next to the Learning Centre. Room L308 is one of the study rooms on the 3rd floor: go left at the top of the stairs and to the very far corner of the library.
