A critical introduction to the study and application of the major themes of human geography, including historical, regional, urban, social and cultural geographies. Using geographic research methods, it investigates geographic phenomena, especially human-environment relations.
Purpose: This guide provides access to information in the OC Library collection and on the Internet, that will be of use to students who are researching issues in human geography.
Scope: The resources listed in this guide are by no means the only resources that may be used to research in human geography. Many others exist within the Library, in electronic format from the Library, on the Internet, and elsewhere. The resources presented represent some of the most useful starting points for research in this area.
