Tips for searching library databases

Use individual words or short phrases, not sentences: "apple inc." AND leadership

Use synonyms and related words: smartphone could also be "mobile device", iphone, cellular, etc....

Join synonyms with OR to expand your search: iphone OR cellular OR smartphone

Use quotations marks to search words as phrases: "mobile phone", "apple inc.", etc.

Use an asterisk to get more variations of a word: leader* will bring back leaders, leadership, and leader
