Is it C.R.A.A.P.?

Keep these five criteria in mind as you research and select your sources:

CURRENCY

- The timeliness of the information presented 

RELEVANCE

- How important is the information presented for you research? 

AUTHORITY

- Who created the information?
- What are their (author, publisher, organization etc,) credentials, and do they apply to the area of research?

ACCURACY

- How reliable is the information?
- Is any of the information biased, or being presented in a way that does not match the evidence?

PURPOSE

- Why was the source created?
- Is it being used to inform, entertain or sell you something?
