Tools: RSS Feeds

An RSS feed takes the content of a website, and any updates or edits to be sent to your designated RSS reader. RSS feeds are a great way to to stay current and aware. Learn more about RSS feeds and readers.

  • Click on Publications tab
  • Search for publication by title
  • Select Create RSS Feed button, if available

Stay Current

Regularly checking media outlets and other current events tools and publications means you'll stay up-to-date and trends in local, national, and international business community.

OC Library subscribes to a number of newspapers and magazines in print and electronic formats including The Kelowna Daily Courier, Vancouver Sun, Globe and Mail, and B.C. Business.

Tools: Search Alerts

Many OC Library databases offer search alerts. You can ask the databases to send you notices via email or RSS when a new article is added that meets your search criteria. Often, you'll first need to set up an account first. Just look for a Search Alerts tab or link and follow the directions.

  • click on Set Up Alert at top of results list
