Locate general or background information on your topic by looking in reference sources which include:

  • Encyclopedias
  • Handbooks
  • Textbooks

Locate more indepth information on your topic by searching the Voyager (Library Catalogue):

  • Books
  • Audiovisual Materials 
  • URLS

Locate very specific information on your topic by searching in periodical indexes and databases for articles contained in:

  • Newspapers
  • Magazines
  • Journals
