Canadian Community ProfilesThese profiles present community-level information from the 2006 Census of Population. Users can search for an area of interest by typing its 'place name' in the box below or by clicking on a province or territory from the list below and selecting the area from a list.
BC Stats: Provides data on a variety of topics specific to BC. Some derived from the Census, and some based on original research by government agencies. Use the "Subjects" menu on the left to navigate.
Census of Canada: Census statistics from past Canadian census surveys.
Statistics Canada: A list of and links to of all of Statistics Canada's freely available publications. Browse by topic or, if you know the catalogue number, click the "Catalogue no." link.
GapminderGapminder World shows the World’s most important trends, it operates as a “fact tank” that promotes a fact based world view.
FAOSTAT: A statistical database including worldwide statistics in agriculture, fisheries, forestry, and nutrition compiled by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations.
Childinfo.orgData and Stats collected by UNICEF, that deal with the situation of children and women
WWW Virtual Library Statstics (U of Florida): A world wide collection of academic internet statistics resources including university departments, statistical research groups, institutes, and associations; government statistical institutes; statistical services; statistical archives and resources; statistical software vendors and software FAQs.
United Nations Statistical Databases: Responsible for collecting, compiling, classifying, publishing, and disseminating global official statistical data.
