OCtopus (Library Search Engine)

OCtopus searches the Library catalogue and several (but not all) of the Library's databases, including CINAHL Complete and MEDLINE with Full Text , in one search. Most of the journal articles in the Library's databases are not freely available on the Web. Enter search terms in the OCtopus search box on the Library's website

CINAHL
A comprehensive nursing & allied health research database, providing full text for more than 770 journals indexed in CINAHL.
MEDLINE with Full-Text
A top database for the life sciences that includes citations or articles from more than 5,500 scholarly journals.
EBM (Evidence Based Medicine) Reviews
Access to resources that provide systematic reviews of topics, article reviews, and access to definitive controlled trials.
Health Source: Nursing/Academic Edition
Provides nearly 550 scholarly full text journals focusing on many medical disciplines. Also features the AHFS Consumer Medication Information, which covers 1,300 generic drug patient education sheets with more than 4,700 brand names.
Nursing and Allied Health Collection
Provides access to authoritative content supporting specialized care, treatment and patient management.
