Welcome

LGBTQQIP2SAA - lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, questioning, queer, intersex, pansexual, two-spirit, androgynous and asexual.  

The Okanagan College Community strives to provide a positive, respectful and safe learning environment for all people.  If you would like to share your pronouns with instructors and staff, please let them know.

Points to consider when looking for information:

  • Some resources (eg. books) contain information on multiple genders and sexual identities.  
  • Some terms used to find information and within resources may be triggering. 
  • When searching in databases the terms used to sort information may not reflect the natural language used by a community. 
  • Terms can change over time.
  • Some topics may intersect with more then one subject area, for example lesbians with disabilities or black transgender people.
