There are many more resources than are available here. Let this guide be a starting point to the variety of information available at OC. Profuse thanks to Kate Fagervik, artistic director of the Salmon Arm Pride Project, for her suggestions. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact me.

Points to consider when looking for information:
- Some resources (eg. books) contain information on multiple genders and sexual identities.
- Some terms used to find information and within resources may be triggering.
- When searching in databases the terms used to sort information may not reflect the natural language used by a community.
- Terms can change over time.
- Some topics may intersect with more then one subject area, for example lesbians with disabilities or black transgender people.
