Conducting a Successful Literature Review

A Literature review also referred to as Systematic Literature Reviews (SLR) is an important aspect of the research process. Depending on the type of research you are engaged in, the SLR typically provides a comprehensive summary of the current literature relevant to a research question or topic.

The University of British Columbia library provides a detailed web page that provides additional information on how to successfully conduct an SLR.  This information is specifically focused on health science SLRs, which are some of the most comprehensive available. Health Science is one of the leading fields employing evidence-based Systematic Literature Reviews.
