Adult Upgrading (AU)
Okanagan College offers many Adult Upgrading (AU) courses, including:
Biology 11, 12
Chemistry 11, 12
English 10 (71,72), English 11 (81,82), English 12
Law 12
Math (41,51,52,61,62), Math (70, 71, 72), Math 10 (84,85), Math 11, Math 12
Physics 11, 12
Psychology 12
Social Studies 12
The books for these courses are loaned out by the library. Students will come in to pick up their books at the beginning of semester and return them at the end -- this makes it very busy in the library during the following times:
Fall Semester:
- Pickup: First two weeks of September
- Drop off: Last week of December (or after)
Winter Semester:
- Pickup: First two weeks of January
- Drop off: Last week of April (or after)
Spring/Summer Semesters:
- Pickup: First week of May, and first week of July
- Drop off: Last week of June, and last week of August
Remind the students when they are picking up their books, that these are library loans and are due back at the end of the semester. Many students forget this or are unaware, and do not return their books.
