Once again, you can place a Request for Library materials located at another OC Campus Library to be delivered to your OC Campus Library, using OCtopus and the Library Catalogue.
The Request service is used to access print books, physical media (VHS, CD-ROMs, and DVDs) or request digitization and the delivery of print journal articles or chapters from print books held in the Library Collection.
Requests for scanning are based on Fair Dealing or Access Copyright guidelines. Generally, Fair Dealing and Access Copyright permit the sharing of one chapter from a book, up to 20% of a book, or one article from a journal issue. Requests will normally be filled within seven days.
The ability to place a Hold on Library material currently checked to another library patron has also been reactivated. Once you place a Hold, you are added to a queue for that Library material, and once it is returned, you will be notified of its availability for your use.
