Introduction

What?

Statistics is "The science of collecting, displaying, and analysing data."

Data is "Information, usually numerical or categorial." 

Why?

Data and statistics offer a weath of information for researchers. Statistics can include socio-economic data, economic indicatators, financial information, and more.
