Introduction to Library resources

Magazines in the Library

Each campus library has a selection of print journals and magazines shelved alphabetically by title. Older issues of some journals and magazines are in storage and may be requested.

Newspapers through the Library

Newspapers rely on reporters and freelance writers to create original stories. They also use shared "wire services" and they will share articles written for the Associated Press or for different newspapers published elsewhere. Most newspapers require subscriptions for full access. You may be able to read a few articles online, but then may be prompted to pay to keep reading. This is called a 'paywall', and accessing newspapers through the Library allows you to bypass the paywall.
