Misinformation is false or inaccurate information—getting the facts wrong.

Disinformation

Disinformation is false information which is deliberately intended to mislead—intentionally misstating the facts.

Deninialism

Denialism describes a refusal of certain persons to change their view of a situation even when confronted by overwhelming evidence to the contrary.  Classic examples are:

Indian Residential Residential Schools in Canada (Royal Society of Canada). 

 

 

Out Right Deception

  • He helped found a college today is known as Walsh University.

  • Popular media personally in the 1late 1950s and 60s.

  • Books, music and movies were made about him. 

  • The M*A*S*H episode "Dear Dad...Again" features a character loosely based on Demara.
