Welcome!  This guide will help you find Library resources for coursework and research for Early Childhood Education

Off-Campus Access

Many of OC Library's online resources are licensed for use by students and employees. You may be prompted to login with myOkanagan username and password if you are off-campus. If you want to use a resource such as Google Scholar and access articles unavailable to the general public, access OCtopus and authenticate as an OC user. Then go to Google Scholar and conduct your research.

On Campus Person Library Services in Kelowna

Library: 2nd Floor
  • Circulation Counter: borrow library materials, including laptops
  • Research Help Desk: get help with citations, finding materials, and research. (Monday - Friday 9am- 4pm) 
  • Learning / Success Centre: get writing, english language, math, science, and business help
  • InfoCommons: Common workspace at computer stations
  • Computer lab (L203): silent space for work/study at computers when there is no library class
  • Printers: on the far side of the glass room (print from library computers)
  • IT Monitor: get help with printing and computers
  • Reference collection: use these encyclopedias and dictionaries inside the library
Library: 3rd Floor
  • Student meeting rooms: book these through library website
  • Quiet study space
  • Circulating collection: books that you can borrow
  • Media collection: DVDs that you can borrow
  • Study carrels for individual silent study spaces
  • All seating on the third floor is for quiet study
