Good Minds book website is an excellent resource. They provide access to books published by First Nations, Inuit, and Metis authors. Excellent resource to find books to puchase or request through your public or College Library. Also provides new release section.

Lillooet Public Library maintains a list of local authors and book titles

North Vancouver Public Library maintains an extensive list. Request titles through your local public library or OC library. Use free interlibrary loan service to obtain titles outside of your local collection. 

You Local Libraries

Visit your local public library or Okanagan College Library.

  • Look for indicators such as Canadian stickers on the spine of the book. 
  • Search by known authors. Find one book by an author then search for more by that author.
  • Include the term 'juvenile' in your keyword search
