Locating Books or DVDs

After you have found a book or DVD in the catalogue, you need the following information to locate it:

Campus: If a book or DVD is not at your campus, you can request the item

Location: Where the book or DVD is found in the library (circulating, reference, or video shelves)

Call Number: The call number on the spine is used to find the book or DVD on the shelf

Status: Available or checked out (you can request a hold for a book or DVD that is checked out)

ADHD & LD : Powerful Teaching Strategies and Accommodations

Sandra Rief presents specific strategies to assist teachers to help students to be successful in the classroom, and identifies a range of possible approaches to accommodate students with ADHD, learning disabilities, and other related disorders. Combines Rief's presentation with footage of teachers modelling techniques and strategies with their students in the integrated classroom.

CBC Radio Q host Jian Ghomeshi interviews Canadian author and broadcaster Ian Brown on his book The Boy in the Moon. Ian's son Walker Brown was born with Cardiofaciocutaneous Syndrome.
