Advanced Oxidation Processes (AOP)

Conducting your Searches

You have a couple of options through which to conduct your research:

A. OCtopus Advanced Search - Octopus is a cross-database search engine that allows the simultaneous searching of the Library's research databases, books, ebooks, journal articles, news articles, conference proceedings, DVDs and streaming video content, etc.

B. E-Journal Title Search - This search engine allows you to search for specific E-Journals by their Title, ISSN (International Standard Serial Number) or ISBN (International Standard Book Number).

C. Google Scholar - This is a place from which you can search across many disciplines and sources: articles, theses, books, abstracts and court opinions, from academic publishers, professional societies, online repositories, universities and other websites. Google Scholar provides Citation count information (the number of times the articles have been referenced by other researchers in their publications). You can set Google Scholar up to include direct links to Okanagan College Articles.

  1. Go to the Google Scholar Settings
  2. Click on Library Links
  3. Search for Okanagan College and choose the three Okanagan College options and click Save.
  4. Go Back to the Settings and Click on "Account" and enable "signed in off-campus access links." This allows access OC Library content from both on and off-campus.
