What is a Primary Source
First-person accounts, including autobiographies, personal communication (correspondence, speeches, interviews, etc.), thesis and dissertations, and scholarly journal articles (research-based reporting on novel research discoveries, government information (i.e., Hansard) , symposia and conference proceedings, news reports, original artwork, poems, photographs, speeches, letters, memos, personal narratives, diaries, etc.
