Geospatial Data

This LibGuide is designed to assist students, faculty and staff in locating and accessing Geospatial Data.

The Earth Like You Have Never Seen it

Pictured here is a gravity field model of the Earth, referred to as 'geoid'. The model was created in 2011, by the Europen Space Agency satellite GOCE,. At the time, it was the most accurate ever produced. The colours in the image represent deviations in height (–100 m to +100 m) from an ideal geoid. The blue shades represent low values and the reds/yellows represent high values.
