Data Liberation Initiative

OC Library subscribes to Statistics Canada's Data Liberation Initiative, which provides access to to numerous Statistics Canada public use microdata files, databases, and geographic files. Students, faculty members, and staff can use DLI data for research and teaching, according to the DLI license.

What is available in the DLI collection, and release dates can be viewed here.

Please note that the use of DLI products requires knowledge of and access to statistical/geospatial software such as SPSS, ArcInfo, or Beyond 20/20.
