DSCI 490 Capstone Winter 2024 - Health

• During the Winter Semester, the Kelowna Reference Desk is staffed from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM Monday through Friday.

• OC Library Staff are also available on the AskAway Monday - Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

• After 4:00 until closing basic reference service is available at the Library Circulation Desk. As well as on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays during open hours.

The Library offers an e-mail reference service known as AskUS.   AskUS provides you with a form to complete and then submit. Please provide as much information regarding your information need as possible, 

AskAway provides convenient and expert chat online reference service help to post-secondary students, instructors, and researchers across B.C. and the Yukon. Connect with friendly and professional AskAway service providers, who respond to questions ranging from circulation to in-depth research to citations. The providers are drawn from post-secondary institutions from across BC. 

When you are on the Library Webpage we have a couple of Popup widgets that you can click on to active AskAway. 

There is also an AskAway link built into the OC Library OCtopus Seatch system which is located on the right-hand side of the webpage. It is embedded directly into OCtopus and all you have to do is click on the text box and start entering your question. 

This AskAway box may from time to time be collapsed into a smaller version. Just click on it to active the AskAway Service.
