Details health indicators that are believed to measure the foundation of a healthy community
First published in 2007 as part of a BC government health initiative called Act Now, the BC Atlas of Wellness uses more than 400 maps, tables and graphics to visually communicate data and information about key wellness indicators for the province of British Columbia. The 2nd edition uses over 80 new wellness indicators to achieve more comprehensive coverage. The material presented provides users with visualizations of regional differences, variations based on gender and age and, where appropriate, statistical testing shows whether or not differences are significant.
