Pay attention to punctuation and font (italicization) in the APA example.

In-Text Citation

Paraphrase (Author Last Name, Date)

Direct Quotation (Author, Date, Page) Page format = p.# for a single page, or pp. #-# for a range of pages.

No Date available is entered as n.d. {no date} format is (n.d.).

No Author information is available?

If no author or creator is provided, start the citation with the title/name of the item you are citing instead. Follow the title/name of the item with the date of publication, and the continue with other citation details.

Sometimes, the author's information will not be a person's name. It may be an organization or corporation, such as Health Canada, or a username on a site such as YouTube.

DOI (doi)  Digital Object Identifier is a unique identifier to a journal, article, book, etc. If DOI has been assigned it will be displayed on the information source and in the OCtopus detailed record display.

Write down bibliographic information such as Author, Title, search terms used to locate the webpage ect. After 24 hours test the inital URL to see if it is still working.
