Take the Moodle Student Academic Integrity Course

In September 2023, Okanagan College launched its latest version of the Moodle Student Academic Integrity course.  I highly recommend that you take the time to take the course.  Log in to your Moodle account, and you will find it on your course dashboard.  OC Librarians, Teaching Faculty, and Staff created this course. 

 

The Dangers of Over Using Cut and Past

Just a friendly reminder don't "overuse" cut and paste in creating your research paper.

Placing an MLA In-Text citation in your essay after the information that you cut and paste and adding an entry in your Works Cited list does not fix your plagiarism problem.

We want you to learn to write using your voice, referencing information that you have discovered and selected that helps to strengthen and support the thesis statement of your essay. .
