OCtopus
OCtopus is a "Federated Search" system.
Federated search is a technology used to search multiple information sources (books, ebooks, videos, e-journals, magazines, and newspaper articles, at the same time. With federated search, you can retrieve information from many different content locations with just one query and using a single search interface.
OCtopus is composed of metadata records that describe and facilitates access to the majority of books, e-books, e-journals and research databases, streaming videos, etc.
