Academic Integrity
It's important for writers to give credit where credit is due. Most of the papers students write require them to conduct additional research and integrate that research into their own work. This means that students need to learn how to cite the sources they use to avoid committing plagiarism, which is in violation of OC's Academic Integrity Policy
For more detailed information, please refer to the OC Library's informative guide about Avoiding Plagiarism.
If you would like specific help ensuring your citations and paper are correctly formatted, please book an appointment with a campus librarian. They are experts in this area and are happy to help!
