Getting Started
Contact a librarian to request system access
- Your first step will be creating a profile on the Talis website. Enter your MyOkanagan credentials to log in.
- Once logged in, you will be directed back to the Talis page. Click 'Create a Profile' and enter your details. Be sure to use your Okanagan College e-mail address in the creation of your profile
- Save your profile
- Contact the liaison librarian in your department area to request permission to create and publish lists
Accept e-mailed invitation
- Once your profile has been reviewed by a librarian, you will receive an e-mail. This is not spam!
- The message will indicate your role as a “List Publisher," which will allow you to create, edit, and publish lists
- Click the link in the e-mail to accept the invitation to use digital resource lists
Ask a librarian to build an online list for you!
- Send your liaison librarian the resource list from your syllabus or course outline and ask them to create an online list using our new Online Resource List Request form
- Once established, you are free to add, delete, or rearrange items from your list at any time (see instructions in other sections of this library guide for more information about working with lists)
