When was it written (publication date), created (video/film, podcast, webpage, blog, social media), corrected (peer-reviewed article), retracted (peer-reviewed article), updated or revised (webpage, blog, social media).
The general rule of thumb with clinical health information needs to be no older than 5 years old.
Business marketing and pricing information should be current (in the last 2-years).
Exception to the rule when you are performing historical analysis.
When you are working with Statistic Canada Interactive Tables you can select the time period of the dataset using what is referred to as the "Reference Period."
